Welcome to our first Xtra Mile Recordings Presents – a raw and intimate monthly acoustic and interview session. Trapper Schoepp is our first guest in The Monarch garden. He was kind enough to play us solo versions of two songs from Rangers & Valentines, his new album: 'Talking Girlfriend Blues' and 'Ogallala'. He also put up with a few questions from us and told us some stories behind the songs, discussing weird melodic monsters, irate van drivers, and his hard-living Swedish immigrant ancestor.
